At approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 11, the CBN experienced a fiber outage on its 60-count fiber serving the areas south of the Hospital.  Staff began investigating the issue prior to 8:00 a.m.  By 10:00 a.m., a workaround was established and the CBN began the process of migrating customers from the 60-count fiber to a new 72-count fiber.  The CBN began restoring service to affected customers by 5:00 p.m.  Full Service was restored by 9:30 p.m.

The CBN will continue to investigate the root cause of the fiber cut.  Non-intrusive testing may be required.  The CBN does not anticipate any further outages related to this issue at this time.
