At approximately 4:20 p.m. on February 20, 2016, the CBN notification system identified an alarm condition on several strands of fiber in west Glenwood Springs. Staff began investigating the issue at 7:45 p.m. On Sunday, February 21, 2016, CBN staff called in City electric department personnel to troubleshoot the issue. At 9:00 a.m., staff identified a section of damaged fiber and began working on replacement of this section.
